Introduction
Elo’s Recommendation API lets the agent in your AI chat app show what a user is looking
for: products to buy, trips to book, places to go and services to hire. When the user
asks for something, your model calls a recommend tool, your server sends that call to
Elo, and Elo answers with up to five recommendations to show as cards in the chat.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”- Give your model a
recommendtool with a query, a category and an optional location. - When the model calls it, your server sends the call and the last messages of the
conversation to
POST /v1/recommend, with your publisher API key. - Show each recommendation as a card whose button opens its
url.
